The objective of the addition’s office floors was to create adaptable, flexible, naturally lit, spaces that leverage the biophilic properties of mass timber to create high-quality, occupant centered spaces. Rendering by Norm Li.

Mass timber install of Level 4 NLT. NLT was laid in panels and spliced together on site. The pre-applied temporary membranes were completed with single piece tape lengths along splice lines.

Column base detail. The routered reveal was designed to leave a 15 mm gap between the top of the new concrete topping and the base of the column.
