1555 West 8th Avenue is a residential development that brings a high standard of livability to the Burrard Slopes. It consists of 18 residential units organized with a combination of mid-rise and low-rise elements. The two distinct masses are arranged to enclose a shared courtyard garden. The landscape of the courtyard is designed to provide attractive views for residents and neighbouring buildings alike. The building is oriented along a north-south axis allowing for natural light exposure and views of the North Shore mountains. Deep balconies on the south elevation and a row of street trees minimize the solar gain from the midday sun.
