omb is delivering full architectural and interior design services for a new 21-storey rental housing project at 2110 West 5th Avenue. Located just one block south of the lively West 4th Village and within 400 metres of the future Arbutus SkyTrain Station, the site sits at the crossroads of neighbourhood charm and major transit access. The project will strengthen connections to active transportation networks, with secure bike parking and at-grade car share options designed to support a range of mobility needs for residents and the broader community.
The tower will rise thoughtfully from its context, stepping down to respect neighbouring low-rise buildings while preserving a mature tree that anchors the site in its established urban fabric. At street level, new retail spaces along Arbutus Street will reinforce its role as a key high street, offering amenities that serve both new tenants and locals.
The proposed building will include 160 rental homes, with 33 below-market units and 57 family-sized suites. Residents will enjoy generous indoor and outdoor amenities designed for gathering, wellness, and everyday living. The design emphasizes simplicity, longevity, and livability, delivering a resilient and context-sensitive addition to the evolving Kitsilano North neighbourhood.
